Welcome to my personal webpage. My name is Mark and I’m a quiz question writer, assistant producer, researcher, presenter and pop culture expert. I am the creator and host of the popular YouTube channel Big Nerd Pub Quiz. I’ve contributed to blogs, radio, TV quiz shows and podcasts on a wide range of subjects from sci-fi, music and nerd culture. I’ve written for shows such as the The Tournament (BBC/QITV), Tipping Point (ITV/RDF), Bridge of Lies (BBC/STV Studios), Fastest Finger First (ITV/Stellify), Riddiculous (ITV/Whisper North) The Finish Line (BBC/Potato) Lightning (BBC/Nice One/Fizz).My radio and news appearances include BBC News, BBC Radio Ulster, BBC Radio Scotland, Sky One and RTE Radio 1. In 2015 I appeared on the Sky One reality game show “King of the Nerds”. I’m also a keen musician having founded the Belfast Ukulele Jam and a regular MC at the London Ukulele Wednesday Club at Tamesis Dock.
